When it comes to combining two different professions at the same time, only one man has been able to fuse two different worlds together in his career. His name is no other than Lindsay Rosenwald, he is one of the most widely recognized doctors and at the same time businessmen of his time. But Lindsay has always told the press and the public that he didn’t just get to this point in his career, before he got to the top of his game, it took him almost half of his entire lifetime.
It all began during his time in college, when Rosenwald had to finally choose which career path he has to take; he went for the Finance Degree because it offers his first biggest interest which is business and investments. For that reason, he went to the Pennsylvania State University to study the course in the year 1973; he submerged his entire mind and body to learn everything that is involved in the business world. By the time he has graduated with flying colors from Penn State in 1977, Lindsay felt a huge need to accomplish something else as well.
Even if Lindsay Rosenwald is already ready for the real world that awaits him, something has seemed to have been bothering him every single day. After some thorough thinking, he came to a realization that what has been lacking in his career is his aspiration to become a doctor. This is where his journey into becoming a skilled doctor started to unfold, because he was so eager and excited to study the whole system and academics of medicine, he flew to Temple University to take up the degree. When he has already completed the whole course of medicine, he quickly applied for an internship at the Abington Medical Center, and this is also where he has fully committed his time into private practice for about two and a half years.
But on 1983, when Lindsay Rosenwald finally discovered that being a full time doctor seems to never be enough, he immediately left his doctoral position to pursue something bigger. He felt that what he learned for many years for business and finance has somehow been put to waste, for that he wanted to make good use of all the years in medicine and business he has studied. Lindsay journeyed to Wall Street to look for an employment that will require him to use his two biggest passions, and surely he did. He got accepted at one of the largest investment firms in the country as its Exclusive Physician/Analyst.
