The increase in cases of kidney cancer has doubled the rate of 7 per 100,000 populations in 1975 to 12/100.000 today.
This has given rise especially among women who smoke risk increasing the chances of tumor by 35 percent.
The information has been provided in the 34 th National Congress of the Spanish Association of Urology (EAU) in Feria Valencia, adding further data related to the increase in victims of cancer as a result of changing lifestyles, poor diet and inactivity.
The determinants of tumors respond to a hereditary component, so that affects men and women have double the incidence in males. But women have increased in number as a result of smoking.
The detection of these tumors but today it is more accurate with new imaging techniques.
The annual increase is caused in turn by the currently offered better diagnosis of tumors and increased in younger people as a result of smoking, for example.
